In the secondary years (Grade 6,7,8,9 and 10), we continue to challenge, inspire and nurture our students to enable them to fulfil their potential, whatever their ability. Teachers build on the standards set in primary school, partnering with students during their critical developmental period and helping them become their best selves.

CURRICULUM
A school’s curriculum encompasses all aspects that foster children’s spiritual, moral, social, intellectual, and physical growth and development. This includes not only lessons, events, and routines but also the teaching and learning approaches, assessment methods, quality of relationships within the school, and the values upheld in its operations.
Our curriculum is comprehensive, aiming to master fundamental skills in English, Urdu, and Mathematics. Additionally, it covers foundation studies in Science, History, and Geography, while offering enriching experiences in Art, IT, Sports, and games.
The curriculum is designed with three overarching goals for all young learners:

Physical Development is of utmost importance to us, as it empowers children with physical competence, confidence, and the ability to excel in various activities. Our Physical Education program encourages students to face challenges, build self-confidence, and develop physical capabilities, contributing to their overall well-being and growth as confident individuals.
Scientific and Technological Understanding is another pivotal aspect of our curriculum. We embrace the fast-paced world of science and technology, offering students a wealth of experiences that ignite their natural curiosity and creativity. We strive to inspire awe and wonder while promoting critical and creative thinking.
Furthermore, we recognize the importance of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in modern society, and our students are equipped with essential skills to confidently and responsibly navigate the digital world.
Education for Citizenship plays a vital role in shaping responsible, informed, and engaged young citizens. Our curriculum fosters a deep understanding of civic duties, human rights, democracy, and justice. We encourage students to be proactive in discussing and debating topical issues, preparing them to play effective roles in public life.
Religious Education is an integral part of our curriculum, providing opportunities for personal reflection, spiritual development, and an understanding of diverse beliefs and expressions. This enhances cultural awareness, respect, and appreciation for the values and teachings of different religions.
In addition to the above, our school is dedicated to promoting STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), equipping students with essential skills for the future. We offer engaging and hands-on learning experiences that encourage problem-solving, critical thinking, and innovation.
Furthermore, we are proud to host a Scouts program, nurturing qualities of leadership, teamwork, resilience, and community involvement among our students. The Scouts program empowers children to explore the outdoors, develop practical skills, and build character through various challenging and rewarding activities.
Our assessment approach is geared towards encouraging children to think, learn, and grow. We focus on providing a broad and rich curriculum that challenges each student within a positive learning environment. Regular assessments, ranging from observational to formal examinations as students progress, allow us to monitor progress and ensure that our students consistently exceed expectations.
